Jeff Prose, AIA LEED GA

Jeff’s roles at ib+a include project management, technology implementation and teamwork strategy for the firm’s work. Since joining in 2014, Jeff has introduced building information technology practices that have enhanced the firm’s services. As a former licensed and award-winning residential contractor, he is active in the construction administration for many of ib+a’s projects.

Jeff has over 22 years of practicing single and multi-family architecture; half that time being involved with design/build firms. He brings construction insight shared by few other architects in the profession. The ‘nuts and bolts’ of constructability, sequencing and construction practices influence the design work of ib+a as much as assisting during construction.

His passion for sustainability led him to opportunities in Portland, Oregon, before eventually returning to the Bay Area. While in Portland he developed, designed and built the 2nd and 3rd LEED for HOMES Platinum projects. Involved in every aspect of those homes, his enterprising enthusiasm led to innovations new to residential construction in Portland which eventually included awards and publications.

Jeff graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and is a member of the AIA. His work has earned awards in the Bay Area and Portland, as well as being published widely.

Jeff’s interests outside of the office include time with this family, being a parent volunteer for his daughter’s dance company, and fly fishing.
